retailmenot

Have you heard of these new websites out there that collect voucher and discount codes for all the different online shops? I have decided to test them out today. I needed to get a new coffee making machine, so what place better to get one cheap than argos? I headed to the argos website and after spending a while browsing through dozens of the available machines, I decided to go for the De’Longhi Magnifica Bean to Cup Espresso/Cappuccino Maker. With a hefty price tag of £341, I needed to find some good voucher codes to buy this machine! So I went to retailmenot.co.uk. After searching for argos, the website has given me a dozen argos.co.uk discount codes, however most of them were expired. What a shame! However a few of the codes seemed to still be valid, so I decided to try them out. “VCCOUK”was supposed to give me free delivery… does it work? -No… Hmmm, ok lets try another one! “KITCH20″for 10% off small domestic appliances? And bingo! It worked! Yes, £3.41 is not the massive saving I was hoping for, but it will buy me my lunch tomorrow!

So what do I think about the discount voucher websites? They are easy to use and although it takes some time browsing through the numerous codes and finding the few that actually work, it can be worth it. I would recommend giving these sites a go, especially if you are in no rush and are looking for a bargain. So next time I decide to buy anything online, I will make sure I don’t spend more than I have to!
